About

Hey! I’m Maud, and I love working on digital products, from programming to UX/UI design. I started out in development and eventually moved into design, where I focus on creating simple, user-friendly experiences.

Lately, I’ve been diving into product management, tackling the challenge of understanding user needs and improving productivity. I’ve often been the first product designer or manager at startups, which has given me the chance to take on different roles throughout the product lifecycle and grow my skills along the way, one brick at a time.

The product was an API solution that streamlined the handover process of design system tokens between designers and developers. The product offered a seamless workflow, starting from token definition in Figma to final integration into developers' tools.

Figma Widget: Designers initiated the process using a custom Figma widget, where they could define and collect design tokens. These tokens were automatically synced with our API platform, Specify, enabling a smooth transition of design data.

Web App Interface: The web application served as a central hub, offering a comprehensive view of all design tokens and their connections. Designers and developers could visualize token flows and manage integrations with various tools, all within a user-friendly interface.

GitHub Integration: Tokens could be pushed directly to GitHub repositories, allowing for an efficient, automated handoff process.

Command Line Interface (CLI): Developers could also interact with the system via the CLI, offering flexibility for more customized workflows.

As Product Manager, I led the development of this solution, making sure it met the needs of both designers and developers. I collaborated closely with the design and engineering teams as well as the sales and marketing teams, defining the product vision and gathering user feedback to improve key features like the Figma integration, web interface, and GitHub/CLI workflows. My role was to ensure we delivered a tool that made the design-to-development process smoother and more efficient.
